"I-I'm sorry about yesterday," Youmu says. "I-I didn't mean to accuse you or a-anything."

"..."

Youmu looks away. Her cheeks are tinged pink.

"A-anyway, I guess I was just half-asleep when you saw me," she mutters. "I guess I mistook you for someone else..."

"..."

"N-no, I don't have a boyfriend!" she shouts. "Y-you just reminded me of someone in my dreams!"

"..."

Youmu turns bright red.

"W-why are you looking at me like that?" she stammers.

"..."

Youmu covers her face in embarrassment. It takes a few minutes for her to calm down. She sighs deeply.

"How am I supposed to face him?" she asks aloud. "I can't even talk to you properly."

The skull in her hand stays silent. It is an inanimate object. It does not speak.

"This is hopeless..." she says.

Youmu wraps it up in cloth and takes it with her. She equips her swords, then she pauses in front of a mirror to adjust her ribbon. She wonders idly if it looks any good on her.

Satisfied with her appearance, Youmu steps out of her room and breathes in the morning air. She takes a glance at the sky. The sun is peeking from between a few clouds, as if it was too shy to reveal itself. The trees in the garden sway gently in the breeze.

"What to do first," she asks aloud.

[ ] Head to the kitchen. You need to prepare breakfast.
[ ] Go to Lady Yuyuko's room. She always sleeps in.
[ ] Visit Vincent's room. Maybe you can apologize for yesterday.
[ ] Patrol around the grounds. There might be intruders.
[ ] Take a walk. It is still early.
